April Youth Night

  • Saint Columba Catholic Church 328 Connecticut 66 Columbia, CT, 06237 United States (map)

Despite the excitement of Christmas, most theologians agree that Easter is the most sacred holiday in our Church. Sometimes, we miss out on the joy of that celebration because we don’t pause and reflect on the power of the moments leading up to The Resurrection. Join us on 4/5 as we prepare to celebrate Easter by paying close attention to the days leading up to Christ’s death and focus on exactly what Jesus chose for you.

This gathering is a unique opportunity to explore the powerful themes of love, sacrifice, and renewal that define this important time in the Church. Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and moments of reflection, we will deepen our understanding of the events leading up to Easter. Come share your faith, connect with friends, and discover how Holy Week can inspire your daily life.

Our event will take place at the St. Columba Youth Center in the basement of the St. Columba Parish House (not the church). Just go down the driveway down the big hill behind the parish house to enter through the door into our Center. Our event is open to all 8th-12th graders.

Please RSVP on the website by 4/4 so that we have enough pizza and food for everyone.

This event fulfills the youth group requirement for the Confirmation Program

Note: Diocesan Safe Environment certified adults will be on hand to ensure compliance with Safe Environment protcols.
