One of the beautiful opportunities the Church offers us is the Sacrament of Reconciliation. While this Sacrament is always available, we place a special emphasis on the opportunity to feel the embrace of Christ’s mercy for us during this time of Lent.
Each Lent our Diocese celebrates this Sacrament by setting aside one day where Reconciliation is available for a 24-hour period. Below is the schedule of availability for March 28-29th
In the Willimantic Deanery, 24 Hours for the Lord, will be held on Friday - March 28:
Good Shepherd Parish: St. Columba Church, Columbia- 7:15-7:45 am; 11:00 am - 12:00 pm; 4:30-5:00 pm.
Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish: St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Storrs, 11:30 am-12:15 pm; following 12:30 pm Mass; 6:00-6:45 pm, and following Stations of the Cross
Guardian Angels Parish: St. Andrew Church, Colchester - 4:00 - 6:00 pm;
St. Mary Church, Coventry - following 9:00 am Mass; 11:30 am-12:30 pm; 6:00-6:45 pm; and following Stations of the Cross.
Corpus Christi Parish: St Joseph Church, Willimantic- 3:00-6:00 p.m.
Guardian Angels Parish: St. Francis of Assisi, Lebanon- 4:00-6:00 pm
Good Shepherd Parish: Church of the Holy Family, Hebron- 6:00-6:45 pm
And on Saturday, March 29:
Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish: St. Thomas Aquinas, Storrs, following 8:30 am Mass; 11:00 am-12:15 pm; 4:00-5:15 pm; 7:30 pm until all are heard
St. Mary Church, Coventry - 11:00 am-12:15 pm; 2:30-3:45 pm; and 7:30 pm until all are heard.
Corpus Christi Parish-St Joseph Church, Willimantic - 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Guardian Angels Parish: St. Andrew Church, Colchester - 1:00-3:45 p.m.
